The Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved a bid for an upcoming seal coat program and made several hires at its May 24 meeting.
The commissioners:
-Awarded the Seal Coat Project to Ward Construction for $787,165.
-Approved the FY 2017 Department of Youth Services subsidy grant.
-Authorized a personnel request from the Public Utilities Department and appointed Brent Sheller Water-Sewer Tech-II and authorized advertisement for water/sewer labor position.
-Authorized a personnel request from the Public Utilities Department and appointed Brian Kozakiewicz as part-time intermittent Water-Sewer Tech-II.
-Approved a personnel request on behalf of the Fulton County Senior Center and reclassified Judy Thourot as part-time intermittent driver.
