Fulton County, Lucas County and the City of Toledo have renewed a 20-year contract for surplus water from the city.
The agreement calls for Toledo to send up to 6 million gallons of water per day through Lucas County to Fulton. Amounts greater than 6 million gpd will have to be negotiated.
Fulton County commissioners approved the contract at their meeting May 19.
The contract is only for surplus water and does not guarantee supply or flow.
The Dog Warden had 10 dogs either brought in or were picked up as strays for week of May 8-14.
The office collected $360 in fees and had a peak of five dogs in the kennel May 12.
The board approved the recommendation from the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission to award the Guaranteed Maximum Price Amendment to a Cincinnati contractor for the Heritage Center.
Megen Construction Company received the recommendation and the total amount including the GMP amendment and OFCC fees of $2,553,360. The state agency stated the contractor has complied with the requirements to equal employment.
Ground was broken on the site on State Route 108 in Wauseon last November.
