An easy win for the Indians as the three singles matches were won by default. The doubles matches, though competed, were almost as easy for the Indians as James Allan and Chase Soltis were 6-0, 6-0 winners in first doubles and Tristen Uribes and Zack VanHoy were 6-0, 6-0 winners in second doubles.
Bryan 4, Rossford 1
With 3 varsity starters out of the lineup, the Golden Bears used some younger players to gain their third win in a row. In first singles freshman Keegan McCashen lost in three sets 6-4, 5-7, 0-6. From that point on the Bears got wins in second singles from Colt Arthur with scores of 6-2, 6-3 and Kollin Klingler won third singles with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout. In doubles play Will Jackson and Griffin Thompson were 6-1, 6-2 winners in first doubles and Phenick Thongpasouk and newcomer freshman Brendan Reiser were the second doubles winners 6-2, 6-0.
Archbold 3, Bowling Green 2
It was the play of the Bluestreaks singles competitors that led their team to the win. Jerme Rupp won in first singles 7-5, 6-1. Second singles went to Erik Short 7-5, 6-3 while Brad Diller won third singles 6-4, 6-2. In doubles the Streaks were swept as Lucas Rupp and Michael Short dropped the first doubles match 2-6, 3-6 and Richard Payne along with Devin White lost in second doubles 2-6, 1-6.
