Garnet Radabaugh (1923 – 2018)

Garnet A. Radabaugh, age 94, of Bowling Green and formerly of Delta, peacefully passed away early Monday morning, January 29, 2018 at Brookdale Senior Living in Bowling Green, OH; with her family by her side.  She was born in Delta on February 22, 1923 to the late Ray F. Berkebile and Dilla (Segrist) Berkebile.  Garnet was a graduate of Delta High School and later married Charles Radabaugh who preceded her in death.  Before retiring, Garnet worked for many years with the Campbell Soup Company, but most of all enjoyed being a homemaker; caring for her husband, children and grandchildren.  Some of her fondest hobbies were gardening and reading.  Garnet is survived by her son, Allen (Daisy) Radabaugh of Wauseon; daughter, Alanna (Kenneth) Lohman of Bowling Green, OH; 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  Along with her parents and husband, Ray; she was preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine.  Friends will be received from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy 109 in Delta; where a funeral service honoring her life will begin at 12:00 Noon.  Pastor Teresa Wenrick will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given to The Delta United Methodist Church, 101 Northwood Drive, Delta, OH  43515 and the Delta Public Library, 402 Main St., Delta, Ohio 43515 in her memory.  A special thank you to the nurses and staff from Bridge Hospice and Brookdale Senior Living.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
