Girls Basketball Roundup For November 22nd, 2021

Hilltop 43 Liberty Center 39

Hilltop (1-1) overcame an 18-6 deficit in the second quarter to earn their first win of the season 43-39 over the Tigers. After finding themselves in the early hole, the Cadets outscored Liberty Center (1-1) 37-21 the rest of the way.

Libbie Baker paced three Cadets in double figures with 11 points while Jayma Bailey and Leanna Baker each added 10.


Wayne Trace 29 North Central 26

Wayne Trace’s Rachael Stoller had 12 points as the Lady Raiders (1-0) held off North Central 29-26 in a nonconference contest. Madison Brown tallied 14 points for North Central (1-1) to lead all scorers.

Antwerp 35 Edon 20


Astianna Coppes led all scorers with 17 points as the Lady Archers (1-0) opened their season by knocking off Edon 35-20. Allison Kaylor topped Edon (0-2) with eight points.
