DEFIANCE – Despite winning just one match and taking advantage of five forfeit victories, Archbold fell to Tinora, 48-36, in the Ohio High School Wrestling Coaches Association Regional Dual Tournament held at Tinora High School on Saturday, February 7.
Tinora capitalized on six pins in the match as the Lady Rams advanced to the state tournament on Saturday, February 14 at Marysville High School.
Lila Nichols was the lone Archbold wrestler to record a pin. Nichols pinned Ellie Guilliam in 5:22 at 130 pounds.
Carys Jacobs (105), Kate Brenneman (145), Sadie Hausch (155), Vivi Legato (170) and Gabby Oregon (235) picked up forfeit wins for Archbold.
