The Defiance College Golf program added a blue chip prospect to their team with the addition of Stryker senior Hayden Clingaman on the afternoon of March 8. It is no coincidence that the name Clingaman is synonymous with golfing excellence in Stryker, Ohio. Beginning with Terence, the four Clingaman brothers, including Hunter, Tanner and now Hayden, have brought NWOJGA recognition, BBC titles and postseason championships to Panther Country. The reigning NWOJGA Golfer of the Year, Hayden signed a national letter of intent to take his considerable links skills to Defiance College where, if the chips all fall correctly, he will be joining his elder brother Tanner on the golf team. Like his brothers, Hayden also excelled in the classroom, and will be joining Tanner as an accounting major at Defiance.
