Helen DeLong, 85, earned her angel wings and passed away peacefully Monday, Nov 16, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, four sisters and her oldest son, Gerald S. Delong.
Surviving is the love of her life of 65 years, Gerald E. DeLong. She is also survived by one brother, four sisters and four children, JoAnn (Paul) Brubaker of Hamler, OH. Debbie (Jode) Hoover of Brandon FL, David (Denise) DeLong of Canal Winchester OH, and Laura Wachtmann of Fayette, OH. 12 Grandchildren, Jason (Ruth) Elledge, Josh (Heather) Stump, Ryan (Crystal) Stump, Justin Williams, Stacia (Pedro) Williams, Alyssa Williams, Christopher (Rachel) Hoover, Anna Hoover, Adam Delong, Devin Delong, Brandon (Erin) Wachtmann and Braden Wachtmann. She is also survived by 17 Great grandchildren, 2 Great-great-grandchildren and numerous family, friends and loved ones.
Helen was a gift to us all and anyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. Her smile and loving nature will be forever missed.~”The strength of those who wait with hope in the lord will be renewed; they will soar on wings like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31.
Visitation services will be held at Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home Friday, Nov 20th from 2:00-5:00pm and funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov 21st at 11:00am.
