DIVISION IV SECTIONAL SEMIFINALS

Edon 12 Stryker 2 (5 innings)

EDON – No. 8 Edon scored in every inning, including three in the fifth, to pickup a 12-2 win in five innings to start tournament play.

Winning pitcher Gannon Ripke homered for the Bombers while Garret Skiles, Kyler Sapp, and Max Radabaugh each had two hits.

Edon will face BBC rival and No.3 seed North Central in a Division IV sectional final on Thursday, May 19th, in Pioneer.

AYERSVILLE – Luke Delano, Blake Hauenstein, Ben Amoroso combined to toss a five-inning perfect game as No. 5 Ayersville blasted Pettisville 16-0 in the sectional semifinals.

Hauenstein also had two hits and totaled four RBIs for the Pilots. Ayersville will travel to No. 4 Montpelier on Thursday, May 19th for a Division IV sectional final.

HICKSVILLE – The Aces scored six in the first and four in the sixth on their way to an 11-3 sectional win over Fayette.

Aiden Champion earned the win on the mound and was 3-4 with the bat and drove in five runs.


Owen Lemley and Elijah Lerma each had two hits for the Eagles with Lemley also adding two RBIs.

BRYAN – The Golden Bears tallied an early six runs and took advantage of five Shawnee errors to get a 13-3 non-league win in five innings.

Joe Watson had two doubles and three RBIs to pace Bryan at the plate.
