SOUTHVIEW – The Bluestreaks (No. 6 seed) hit six shots from deep and went 26/41 at the foul line as they pulled away in the fourth quarter to upset No. 3 Lake 80-63.
“It’s a huge win for us, I thought we were really prepared”, said Archbold head coach Brian Ziegler following the game.
Addi Ziegler spearheaded the Archbold attack with 35 points and nine rebounds while Sophie Rupp registered 16.
“She (Addi) really stepped up and that is a game you hope a senior has”, added Ziegler when talking about the performance of the Bluestreak senior.
Archbold (13-8) will now face either Wauseon or Evergreen in the Division district semifinals on Thursday night at Anthony Wayne High School.

DIVISION II SECTIONAL SEMIFINAL
Bryan 61 Defiance 10
HAMLER – Bryan put ten players in the scoring column led by Reese Grothaus with 20 points to roll by Defiance 61-10.
Grothaus scored seven points in the opening quarter to help Bryan to a 17-2 lead which they increased to 35-6 at halftime.

DIVISION III SECTIONAL SEMIFINAL
Liberty Center 60 Montpelier 40
BOWLING GREEN – Montpelier started strong before the Tigers took control with a 40-14 run during the second and third quarters combined to get the 60-40 win.
The Locos, who finish the season at 19-4, were topped in scoring by Trinity Richmire with 13 and Chelsea McCord added 12.

DIVISION IV SECTIONAL SEMIFINALS
Antwerp 38 Edon 33
BRYAN – No. 3 seed Antwerp (14-9) stormed back in the fourth quarter by outscoring Edon 13-4 to rally for a 38-33 win over the 11th seeded Bombers.
Carlie Kiess led the Edon (6-17) scoring with eight points while Olivia Mitchell added seven.

Stryker 37 North Central 21
PAULDING – The Panthers held North Central to just one field goal in the first half to jump to an 18-3 lead at halftime on their way to a 37-21 win.
Sage Woolace had six buckets and two free throws for 14 points to lead Stryker (11-12) while Kendal Bonney’s nine points topped North Central (11-10).

BRYAN – The Big Green of Ottoville rallied from four points down in the fourth quarter to force overtime where they prevailed 50-45 in a Division IV sectional semifinal.
Libbie Baker scored 14 points to front the Cadets (15-8) and Mia Hancock added 11.

BRYAN – Trailing 37-23 entering the fourth quarter, the Golden Bears engineered an 18-9 final frame to close the gap but fell short in a 46-41 loss to Celina in the regular season finale.
Craig Jackson had 11 points for Bryan (1-20) and Sam Herold added 10.
