Delta 70 Swanton 7

DELTA – Bryar Knapp found the end zone twice on offense and added a pick-six on defense as Delta overwhelmed Swanton 70-7 in the battle for the Iron Kettle.

The Panthers rolled up 420 yards rushing led by Knapp’s 122 yards on just six carries and Jeremiah Wolford added 119 yards on 13 attempts.

EDON – Kyler Sapp passed for four touchdowns as edon put up 37 points in the opening stanza to cruise past Hilltop 51-6.

Sapp completed 14 of 18 passes on the night for 200 yards and those four touchdowns with Carter Kiess catching three passes covering 72 yards and two touchdowns.

David Rodriguez had six carries for 43 yards and the lone Hilltop touchdown and Brock Kesler had 60 yards receiving on two receptions.

PIONEER – North Central scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to clinch the win over the previously undefeated Erie-Mason Eagles 34-14.

Joe Burt paced the North Central offense with 97 yards and three scores while Quin Burt had 155 yards on 16 attempts.

Joe Burt and Connor Gendron had six tackles each for the defense while Cohen Meyers added four tackles and two sacks.

HOLGATE – Holgate used to big plays on offense to take control early as they clinched a home game in the Northern 8 conference playoffs after a 50-14 win over Stryker.

HAMLER – Wauseon recovered from a slow start that had them down 13-0 after one quarter and scored the last 38 points of the game to get the win.

Trey Parsons led the rally with scoring passes of 61 yards to Jude Armstrong and 30 yards to Sam Smith in the second quarter.

Parsons finished 27/31 passing for 307 yards, Armstrong had 12 receptions for 144 yards, and Tyson Rodriguez hauled 11 passes for 107 yards.

Brennen Friend accounted for the Locos score on a 97-yard run in the fourth quarter as he finished with 106 yards rushing on the night.
