ARCHBOLD – Ethan Stuckey turned in a hat trick as Archbold defeated Swanton 6-0 in the season and NWOAL opener for the Bluestreaks.

DELTA – Delta started defense of their NWOAL title in convincing fashion with a 6-0 win over Bryan. Caiden Etter and Nolan Risner each found the net twice for the Panthers and Max York tallied three assists.

SPRINGFIELD – After dropping the first set (21-25), Springfield stormed back to take the final three (25-20, 25-16, 27-25) for a four-set win over the Bluestreaks.

Keely Culler filled the stat sheet for Archbold with 16 kills, 4 blocks, 12 assists, and 12 digs.

WAUSEON – The Apaches kicked off their season with a four-set win at Wauseon 25-19, 20-25, 25-11, 25-10. Paige Riccia paced the Fairview effort with 18 digs, 15 kills and Haley Hammer recorded 48 assists on the night.

EDGERTON – The Lady Bulldogs moved to 2-0 on the young season after knocking off Delta 25-23, 25-19, 25-19. Taylor Smith racked up 25 assists for Edgerton and Corrine Cape delivered nine kills.

HICKSVILLE – Swanton outlasted Hicksville 32-30 in the opening set and took the final two sets (26-24, 25-20) to get a straight set road win.

Lillyanna Valderas spearheaded the Bulldog attack by going 14/14 serving and adding 14 digs while Maddie Smith and Katlyn Floyd each had nine kills.

ARCHBOLD – After Genoa tied the match at 1-1 with 34:47 to go, Leah McQuade scored twice (22:19, 19:57) to carry Archbold to a 3-1 non-league win.

Sophie Rupp accounted for the other Bluestreak goal and added an assist.
