Hilltop Cadets Fall To Hicksville Aces In 5 Innings 14-2 In Non-League Play

HICKSVILLE: MAY  2, 2014– The Hilltop cadets took to the road on May 2, visiting the Hicksville Aces for a non-conference outing, falling 14-2 to the GMC power.

Chad Champion took the loss for the Cadets, allowing 12 runs off of 12 hits in 2 and 1/3 inning’s of action, while Miklo Abner also threw 1 and 2/3’s inning in the setback.

Offensively for the Cadets at the plate, Zach Roehrs had the big bat, going 2 for 3 in the game.  Also for Hilltop, Cole Haynes Miklo Abner and Quinn Smith each recorded hits, with Haynes receiving credit for an RBI.

The loss drops the Cadets to 4-12 on the season and the Cadets sit at 3-4 in the BBC.
