(September 15th, 2014)-STRYKER: The Cadets of Hilltop were ready when the Antwerp Archers came to Riverside Greens. The two teams squared off on Hilltop’s native course, and that advantage paid off for the Cadets. They took down the Archers by 29 strokes, winning the match 170-199.
Trevor Shipman was the lead Cadet at the match, shooting a 40. The score was good enough to split medalist honors with Antwerp’s Jeff Coleman, who also turned in a 40. Fellow Cadet Isaac VanArsdalen fired a 41. Colin Sabins put up a 44, and Levi Grant a 45 to round out Hilltop’s total.
Coleman’s teammates couldn’t match his success on the road, as the next lowest Archer score belonged to Iann Roebel, who shot a 52.
