The Millcreek-West Unity Local Schools Facilities/Technology Committee met on Tuesday, June 9 at 7 a.m. with Superintendent Steven Riley and board members, Brian Wieland and Dave Dempsey in attendance.

Riley reviewed potential facilities improvement projects during the meeting. Among the projects discussed was the replacement of football field lights at Daft Field. The committee also reviewed the current shingled roof for the K-12 building.

Additionally, the committee also toured the parking lots and bus garage to inspect the condition of those areas.

Following the tour, it was recommended to repave and resurface the parking lot as well as to add an extension of the bus garage canopy to protect the school buses.

The meeting then adjourned at 7:25 a.m. after returning from the tour.
