(October 9th, 2014)-PETTISVILLE: Traveling to Pettisville, the Junior Varsity Lady Cadets challenged the hometown Lady Blackbirds. Despite losing in straight sets, the Hilltop girls were competitive throughout the match.
In the first game, the Cadets battled hard, but couldn’t overcome the home court advantage enjoyed by Pettisville. They lost the first set to the Blackbirds 17-25. Game 2 saw the girls from Hilltop revamp their efforts. They still fell short, however, 20-25 as Pettisville claimed the match with the set victory.
