Craft fairs have grown in popularity over the years, and with so many people finding ways to market their talents, Christmas is a great time to get out there and sell their wares.

A Holiday Market with around fifty vendors present, was held in the Gillette Building at the Williams County Fairgrounds on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

The parking lots around the building were full as vendors and customers alike took some time to start out the month with some homemade gifts and foods.

Not only was Santa there to greet the kids, but The Grinch wandered grumpily around in the building, even attempting once or twice to steal a gift from Santa’s photo booth.

Both characters brought smiles to faces and gave visitors an opportunity to remember that this is a joyous time of year.

The variety at the holiday market went from designer cookies to jewelry, wood crafts to home sewn items and stocking stuffers to hands on opportunities.

Some guests took the chance to get a massage or relax while creatively painting a designer stone. Others purchased a delicious lunch from Girl Scout Troop 10499.

Whether wandering around “window shopping” or buying gifts for family and friends, the atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful, with a definite feeling of Christmas in the air.
