FAYETTE – James N. Fallon, age 79 of Fayette, passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 18, 2023.
He was born in Morenci on December 25, 1943, to the late Harold and Verda (Ford) Fallon. Jim attended and graduated from Morenci High School.
On March 16, 1980, he married Joyce A. Bailey at the First Congregational Church in Morenci, and she survives. Jim held several jobs in his lifetime, retiring from Sauder Woodworking.
Jim loved spending time with his grandchildren and his fur babies.
He loved to collect antiques and signs, many of which he would lend to the Fayette Historical Society, of which he was a member. He was also a member of the Fayette Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving besides his wife, Joyce, are children, Shawn Quigley, Jennifer (Cole) Landon, and Michelle Williams; grandchildren, Damion and Trinidy Sell, Madison Landon, Steven (Jolynn) Williams, and Chelsea (Kyle) Erving; and a sister, Bonnie (Larry) Elarton.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Fallon; and a son-in-law, Alden Williams.
According to Jim’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service in Jim’s memory will be planned at a later date.
