Wauseon 38 Bryan 35

Wauseon locked down Bryan in the fourth quarter by outscoring them 12-2 to rally from an 11-point deficit to get the win. The Bears connected on seven three pointers thru the first three quarters as they built a 33-26 lead entering the fourth. Wauseon’s Jonas Tester led all scorers with 22 points while Connar Penrod added 11. Bryan was led by Evan Cox who hit four triples for 12 points and Titus Rohrer added 11.

Archbold 36 Patrick Henry 26

Three Blustreaks were in double figures to pace Archbold in a 36-26 win to start NWOAL play. Noah Gomez, Alex Roth, and DJ Newman topped Archbold (6-3, 1-0 in NWOAL) with 10 points each.

Montpelier 28 Fayette 26

After playing a triple overtime contest three days ago, the BBC rivals went down to the wire again. Trailing 19-18 going to the final quarter, the Locos were 6/7 from the foul line down the stretch to pull out a 28-26 win at Fayette. Gavin Stratton had seven points to lead Montpelier (5-1, 4-0 in BBC) and Elijah Lerma topped Fayette (3-2, 2-2) with a game-high 14 points.

Pettisville 54 Hilltop 36

The Blackbirds shot 42% from the floor and outrebounded the Cadets 35-18 as they rolled to a 54-35 win over Hilltop. Max Leppelmeier tallied 19 points to lead Pettisville (5-1, 4-0 in BBC) and Cayden Jacoby added 18 points and 16 rebounds. Brennon Carter paced the Hilltop (0-10, 0-7) offense with 12 points and Ian Hoffman had 10.
