Julia Rebecca “Becky” Peters, age 82, of Montpelier, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Evergreen Manor in Montpelier, Ohio.
Becky graduated from Fremont High School and was a free spirit, who worked as a self-employed entrepreneur for many years. Anyone who knew her knew she held a passion for fashion, modeling, and antiquing.
Becky was born on August 9, 1941 in Steuben County, Indiana, the daughter of Adrian and Opal (Antrup) Hassett. She married Thomas Peters on May 1, 1997 and he preceded her in death.
Becky is survived by her daughters; Lori (Werner) Straube, Stephanie (Russ) Beamish, and Erica (Tony) Flynn; sisters, Pam, Joann, and Kim; granddaughters, Alexis Flynn, and Adriane Straube; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded by her parents and brother, J.C. Hassett.
According to Becky’s wishes no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Elara Caring Hospice.
The family greatly appreciates the kind and compassionate care that was provided by the staff at Evergreen Manor and Elara Hospice.
