(August 26th, 2014)-WEST UNITY: Inviting the Lady Panthers of Delta onto their home court, the junior high girls of Hilltop prepared themselves for combat. Only half of the Cadet unit would win the day, however.
It was in impressive fashion that the Seventh Grade Lady Cadets defeated Delta. In back to back sets, the Panthers found themselves overwhelmed by Hilltop. Winning game 1 25-11, the young Cadets saw fit to repeat the feat, also taking game 2 by that same score to claim the match for themselves.
A harder fight and less pleasant result awaited the Hilltop Eighth Graders. Dropping game 1 to the Delta girls, Hilltop found themselves on the wrong end of a 16-25 score. Even with a valiant effort to battle their way back into the match, they fell short to the Lady Panthers in the second set 15-25.
