On July 20, 2018, a Fulton County Common Pleas Court jury found Zackary Tressler, age 33, of Delta, OH, guilty of Telecommunications Harassment, a felony of the fifth degree.
A Fulton County Grand Jury had previously indicted Mr. Tressler for the February, 2018 offense of Telecommunications Harassment. In February of 2018, he knowingly make a telecommunications from a device under his control to a caller that had previously told him not to make a telecommunications to them.
The jury of 8 men and 4 women deliberated approximately four and a half hours before returning their guilty verdict. The case was prosecuted by Fulton County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Paul H. Kennedy, and Mr. Zackary Tressler was represented by Swanton attorrney, Gary Smith.
Mr. Tressler’s bond was continued, and a pre-sentence investigation and report was ordered by the Court. A sentencing date has not yet been set. Mr. Tressler could face six to twelve months in prison.
This charge was the result of an investigation conducted by the Wauseon Police Dept.
