Kathleen A. Galbraith, age 66, of Delta, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the University of Toledo Medical Center.
Kathy was born in Wauseon on October 11, 1952 to the late William Grime and Lavina (Tuckerman) Grime. Kathy was a 1971 graduate of Delta High School. She later married Thomas Galbraith on October 15, 1983 and he preceded her in death on July 27, 2016.
Kathy was owner and operator of the Haircutting Shop in Delta for over 35 years. She was also owner of Corner Antiques. Along with her passion for antiquing and visiting flea markets, Kathy was an avid football fan following her beloved Buckeyes and Green Bay Packers.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jami (Steve) Meller of Fayette; Jennifer Galbraith of Liberty Center and Kody Galbraith of Delta; brothers, Roger (Elizabeth) Grime of Reynoldsburg, OH, Lee Grime of Delta and Eugene Grime; four grandchildren; one great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Wagner and nephew, John Peter Grime.
Arrangements are entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy 109 in Delta. A memorial service honoring Kathy’s life will be announced at a later time. Those planning an expression of sympathy may make a monetary contribution to the family c/o Kody Galbraith.
