Keith A. Springer, 67, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024, at Fairlawn Haven, Archbold, Ohio. Keith was born in Hicksville, Ohio, on Nov. 5, 1956.
He worked for Campbell Soup but spent most of his working life at Bard Manufacturing in Bryan. Keith will be remembered for the love and care he showed his family.
Keith was an avid coin collector and liked to spend his spare time putting together model planes, model cars, rockets, and doing work with his hands.
He was known for being a Michigan sports fan. Keith also loved Star Trek and old westerns, especially John Wayne movies.
Keith will be sadly missed by his wife, Maria (Shock) Springer; children, Jim (Pryante) Winnie, Christopher (Lori) Springer and Judy (Jason) Owens; mother, Doris (Gruber) Springer; siblings, Jeanine (Jeff) Alpaugh, Debra Goeltzenleuchter and Melanie Bair; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman and his brother, Michael.
Viewing is Tuesday, Jan. 9, from 4-7 p.m. at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River St., Antwerp, Ohio. His funeral service is 10:30 a.m., with viewing one hour prior on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp. He will be laid to rest in Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
