AUTHOR … The guest speaker at the Kiwanis Club of Bryan on December 10, 2025, was our very own Dr. Shay Pursel. Dr. Pursel spoke about the process she undertook to learn how to write books. She spent 10,000 hours in study to hone her craft and to date she has written five books with plans for more in the near future. In the spring she will embark on her first ever book tour in our hometown area coffee shops and communities.
