MONTPELIER: MAY  3, 2014– The Montpelier Lady Locomotives played host to Swanton on May 3, prevailing in a hard fought 4-3 extra inning battle with the Lady Bulldogs.

Jessy Duchene earned the victory for the Lady Locos, throwing the entire 8 inning game and allowing just 5 hits while striking out 4.

Offensively for the Lady Locomotives on the day, Christy Duchene and Regan Steffes each connected for over the fence shots in the victory along with singles in the Loco win. Sydney Houk and Leslie Clark each connected for doubles with Houk and Duchene connecting for hits in the Montpelier win..

The win lifts the Lady Locos to 7-7 on the season and 3-4  in the NWOAL.
