Larry C. Gibson

Larry C. GibsonLarry C. Gibson, age 80, of Montpelier, Ohio, died at 6:31 P.M. on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he had been a patient after an extended illness. Mr. Gibson was a graduate of Connell High School in Connell, Washington, served in the United States Air Force and retired from General Telephone with twenty-nine years of service as a lineman and splicer. He was a member of the Montpelier Eagles and Pioneer American Legion, was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed fishing.

Larry C. Gibson was born on May 11, 1936, in Caldwell, Idaho, the son of Loren and Marie (Remy) Gibson. He married Carol J. Peterson on June 1, 1965, in St. Petersburg, Florida, and she preceded him in death on April 14, 1995.

Survivors include one son, Roger (and special friend, Jackie (Imm) Tennant, of Edon, Ohio; three daughters, Lisa (Buck) Muehlfeld, of Edon, Loreen (David) Murray, of Dayton, Ohio, and Loretta (Lonnie) Teats, of Camden, Michigan; and seven grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Norman, Wes and Butch Gibson; and one sister, Linda Luttrell.
