Leslie L. Young, age 45, of Bryan, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, following a sudden illness.
Leslie worked at Matsu Ohio in Edgerton. She attended Grace Community Church, was a big fan of “Nightmare Before Christmas,” loved her Jeep club, camping at Port Clinton, Ohio, and spending her husband Paul’s money.
Leslie was born January 28, 1981, in Rockwood, Tennessee, the daughter of Terry and Ruthann (Angel) Steelman. She married Paul Young on September 5, 2020, and he survives.
In addition to her husband, Paul, Leslie is survived by her sons, Josh (Sierra) Roden and Jacob (Katie Engle) Roden, both of Rockwood, Tennessee; daughters, Sierra (Chris Vaughn) Gordon and Shianne King, both of Greeneville, Tennessee, and Myia (Chris) Roder, of Rogersville, Tennessee; her father, Terry Steelman; brothers, Aubrey and Donnie; and sisters, Heather and Nikki. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruthann Steelman.
A celebration of Leslie’s life will be held at a later date. Her arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, which is honored to serve her family.
