It seems just yesterday that we were bustling with the Village-wide garage sales and eagerly planning for the 2024 homecoming.
The delightful trunk-or-treat and the joyous Santa parade are now fond memories as we eagerly anticipate an exciting 2025.
This year has been a remarkable journey for the Edgerton Chamber of Commerce. We’ve embarked on a quest to redefine our purpose and vision for the future. Our meetings have been vibrant with passionate discussions about our existence and what we aim to achieve.
In a nostalgic discovery, we unearthed our articles of incorporation from 1976, revealing that our founders shared a vision akin to ours today.
They envisioned “improving the cultural and economic welfare of Edgerton, Ohio,” and serving as a “clearinghouse for community ideas, activities, and information.” Their goal was to help make Edgerton the best place to live and thrive.
A pivotal moment in our discussions occurred during the September meeting when Jeff shared insights from his conversation with Butler’s Main Street Association. This exploration revealed that the concept of such an organization aligns perfectly with our mission and vision.
With great excitement, we announce our transformation! The Edgerton Chamber of Commerce is now officially “MainStreet Edgerton!” Though our name has changed, our purpose remains steadfast.
We are dedicated to enhancing Edgerton’s cultural and economic landscape while continuing to serve as a hub for innovative ideas and community activities.
