On Saturday, February 23rd from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. at the Season’s Bistro in Bryan, Ohio you can be part of the effort to help the one in eight babies that will be born too soon. Bring your family, friends and co-workers for the March of Dimes most exciting walk of the year.

Because of our community’s past and future efforts, neural tube defects in babies have dropped 29 percent with every baby born undergoing a newborn screening for 29 life threatening, but potentially treatable diseases.

The story of Liam Geren of Bryan, Ohio provides the perfect example of why events like the March for Babies are so crucial to the cause. Weighing just 1 lb. and 7 oz. Liam was born on January 12, 2012 at only 24 weeks gestation. He spent 15 weeks in the NICU before returning home to his family and is growing stronger every day. His family credits his success to the advances funded by the March of Dimes.

Free food, beverages and other activities will all be part of the fun at The Season’s Bistro. Please RSVP to Tracy Ulrich at (567)-298-4820 or TUlrich@marchofdimes.com.
