Stryker High School students stepped into a Midnight Masquerade celebrating its prom night on Saturday, May 2, at the Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center building in Archbold.
The evening was filled with music, masks, dance, food and fun, all set against a vibrant “Mardi Gras” backdrop. The Fulton Room was decked out in the theme’s signature colors of blue, pink and gold.
The prom meal, which was catered by Frankie’s Restaurant of Bryan, started with a shrimp cocktail followed by pulled pork brisket sandwiches, pasta and dinner salads, corn casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, and topped off with assorted desserts.
Eli Capps and Reiss Creighton were chosen as king and queen of the prom. Chandler Lloyd and Aubrey Clemens were named prince and princess for this year’s prom festivities.
Following the dance, which was held from 8 to 10 p.m., prom-goers departed Stryker High School at 10:30 p.m. and bused to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where they visited Power Up Action Sports from midnight to 4 a.m.
It gave them a chance to enjoy time as classmates and take part in post-prom activities before arriving back at Stryker at 5:15 a.m. with plenty of memories lasting a lifetime.
