METAMORA VILLAGE COUNCIL: End Of Year Special Meeting Held To Handle Legislative Matters

The Metamora Village Council held a special meeting on Monday, December 27th at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Members of council were informed by the mayor that the only items that needed to be discussed were three ordinances as shown on the agenda under the Fiscal Officers report. A list of items to discuss during the next meeting was also handed out.

Council then moved to approve the following ordinances. First was Ordinance 1067 regarding the amendment of Ordinance 1061 of the Village of Metamora Section 1 and 3, establishing 2021 employee compensation, repealing all sections in conflict herewith and declaring an emergency.

Next was Ordinance 1068 regarding the establishment of employee compensation for 2022.

Lastly was Ordinance 1069 regarding permanent appropriations. Each ordinance was passed after suspension of the rules was approved by council.

After approving the three ordinances, council moved to adjourn for the evening.
