Micah J. Homan, age 12, of Wauseon, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018. He was in the 7th grade at Wauseon Middle School and formerly attended Napoleon Schools.
Micah was born on April 22, 2006, to Jeremy D. Homan and Krista Dishop. He was a huge fan of the Michigan Wolverines and loved baseball – especially the Detroit Tigers. Micah enjoyed Duathalons where he competed in running and biking and finished 1st place in almost every race he competed in. Micah also enjoyed playing XBOX, football and basketball with his friends as well as helping others – often helping neighbors carry in their groceries and other projects. His other love was being at his Uncle Shane and Aunt Annette’s house during the summer, where he would be with his cousins and ride on their motocross track. Most of all, Micah enjoyed hanging out and fishing and playing catch with his dad.
Left to cherish his memory are father, Jeremy Homan (Heather Cunningham); mother, Krista Dishop; aunt, Annette (Shane) Homan-Thornton; cousins, Colin and Riley; his grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many other cousins.
Visitation for Micah will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Crossroads Evangelical Church. A Celebration of life will also be held at Crossroads Church at 5:00 PM on Sunday with Pastor Matt Strater, officiating. Those planning a monetary contribution in Micah’s memory are asked to consider the Benevolence of the Family, c/o Jeremy Homan.
