The Fountain City Amphitheater was filled with music and worship Friday, June 19, as Christian recording artist Micah Tyler headlined a free community concert hosted by Pam and Jim Steel of Bard Manufacturing.
The event marked the seventh time the Steels have gifted the community with a worship concert, bringing together attendees from across the tri-state area for an evening of music, prayer, and fellowship.
With beautiful weather and a packed lawn stretching across the amphitheater grounds, excitement was evident through the crowd as attendees gathered ahead of the 7 p.m. performance.
Before the music began, Pam welcomed those in attendance and described the concert as a gift to the community, while Jim led the audience in prayer.
The crowd erupted when Tyler took the stage, setting the tone for an energetic and uplifting evening.
Throughout the concert, audience members sang along, raised their hands in worship, and engaged with the messages shared between songs.
Over the course of the evening, Tyler frequently referenced scripture and shared messages centered on faith, hope and trusting God through life’s challenges. His conversational style and relatable storytelling helped create an atmosphere that felt both personal and welcoming.
Families and friends gathered, creating an evening that felt as much like a community celebration as a concert.
Attendees spread across the lawn, visited food trucks stationed near the amphitheater, and enjoyed the pleasant summer weather while taking part in the evening’s worship experience.
Judging by the packed lawn and enthusiastic response from attendees, the opportunity to gather for an evening of faith, music and fellowship continues to resonate with residents.
As the evening came to a close, concertgoers left with memories of an uplifting performance and another successful community event at the Fountain City Amphitheater.
