Michael Kent Huffman, age 81, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away peacefully Monday, December 02, 2024 at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 30, 1943 in Evansport, Ohio to the late James and Willabelle (Hagerman) Huffman. Michael married Susan K. Sanford on August 15, 1965 and she survives.
Michael was employed as a computer programmer with Aro years until his retirement. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bryan, Ohio.
He enjoyed farming, landscaping, crafts including, wood working, and pottery. He was involved in Boy Scouting for many years and was a Eagle Scout. He was also a Bryan School bus driver for 10 years.
Michael is survived by, his wife, Susan K. Huffman, his daughter, Stephanie Tesner and her husband, Peter, his 3 grandchildren, his brother, Marty Huffman, several nieces and nephews.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Sheri Huffman, and his son, Steven Huffman and several siblings.
Celebration of Michael’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 07, 2024, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Bryan, Ohio. Pastor Steve Rath and Pastor Tyson Nofzinger will officiate. Funeral luncheon will be served at the church following the celebration of life services.
