Michael “Mick” Mull (1956-2021)

Michael Lee “Mick” Mull, age 65, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice. Prior to his retirement, he worked at Dinner Bell and Sauder Woodworking.

Michael attended Christ Community Church in Ridgeville and was a member at the Aetna Grange. He was an avid hunter and member of the NRA. He was born to Vernon L. and Carol K. (Siegel) Mull on January 11, 1956.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Elizabeth Siegel; paternal grandparents, Ora and Edith Mull; and mother, Carol Mull.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Alyse Mull; sons, Randy (Sam) Mull and Ryan Mull; and daughter, Traci (Lee) Gobrogge. He is also survived by step-children, Heather (Derek) Ruplinger; Kara (Oscar) Cordova; eight grandchildren: Kennedy, Jamison, Reed, MaKaylah, ILaynah, Gracie, Austin, and Sydney; father, Vernon Mull (Kate Parker); siblings, Denise (Ted) Howard, Steve (Kathy) Mull, Ron Mull, and Lisa (Bob) Cass.

He loved and appreciated his church family and said he didn’t walk alone, he walked with Christ. He enjoyed and loved his family and knew no strangers.


A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon from 1pm – 7pm for Mick’s friends and family. Masking and social distancing will be required.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to CHP Hospice, Christ Community Church in Ridgeville, or to the benevolence of the family.
