Delta High School students gathered for prom on Saturday, May 9, with the evening centered around a “Midnight in Paris” theme.
The event was held at the Delta American Legion Hall, where students arrived for the red-carpet portion of the evening from 6 to 7 p.m. Dinner followed from 7 to 8 p.m., giving students time to visit with classmates before the formal program continued.
The crowning ceremony was then held at 8 p.m., followed by the dance from 8 to 10 p.m. Students spent the rest of the evening enjoying music, photos, and time together as part of one of the school year’s last events.
After prom followed later that night at the Delta High School, where students took part in a lock-in from 10:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
The after-prom event included inflatables, raffles, games, and other activities, providing a safe and supervised way for students to continue the celebration after the dance.
The evening gave Delta students a chance to dress up, celebrate together, and enjoy a full night of prom activities, from the red carpet and dinner to the dance and after-prom festivities.
