(September 15th, 2014)-SHERWOOD: The Lady Locomotives pulled into station at Fairview High School for volleyball action. Though they were unable to pull off the win on the road, losing in straight sets, the girls of Montpelier gave the Apaches all they could handle.
In the first set, the Locos kept pace with Fairview’s scoring, but fell late in the game. The dropped the set 20-25. Not deterred, Montpelier came out in game 2 with the same intensity as the first. Still, they couldn’t get in front of the Lady Apaches, losing the set 21-25. Game 3 saw the depleted Lady Locos fall once more, 16-25
The Locomotives are now 5-7 on the season.
