William and Karen Stoops of Montpelier are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married at the Zion Lutheran Church in West Jefferson by the Rev. Allan Doctor on August 31, 1963. The family is honoring the couple with an open house on Sunday, September 1 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at The Moose Family Center in Montpelier. Friends are encouraged to stop in and join the celebration.
