Montpelier Police & Williams County Crimestoppers Seeking Help In Solving Local Crime

On August 14, 2013 at approximately 10:12 PM, a male subject entered the Valero Main Stop Gas Station where he grabbed the station employee, stole a large amount of money and three cartons of cigarettes. The suspect was wearing a dark colored stocking/beanie cap pulled down over his ears, a white t-shirt, blue jeans and sunglasses with large lenses. He was described as over 6-0 tall with a 5-o’clock shadow, with hair colored dirty blonde or light brown. The suspect also had various tattoos on his exposed forearms which were described as old, faded, and with no color. The suspect was also described as having acne scars on his face.

The suspect fled on foot to the west of the store where he may have gotten in to a waiting vehicle. A vehicle was observed leaving the scene west bound on SR 107.
