ARCHBOLD – The Montpelier Locomotives’ understaffed thinclads went into battle for the two-day annual event known as the NWOAL Championships. Unable to compete in every event due to the aforementioned staffing issues, the Locos missed out on scoring opportunities that finally placed them in ninth place with 28.5 points.
The men that were on hand did not fail to impress their competition, though. Michael Warner took third in the 3200, and Collin Mercer placed fourth in the ultra-competitive 100 meter dash.
