NEW PASTOR … Marc Lapointe was the guest speaker at latest Montpelier Rotary Club meeting. Marc has been called as the new pastor at Montpelier’s St. John Lutheran Church. Marc spent time as a manufacturing engineer before being ordained in 2000 – he describes himself as a “second career pastor”. Marc spent many years as a pastor in Canada – serving in Alberta and British Columbia. He is excited to work with the church family of St. John’s and the whole Montpelier community when the transition to his pastorate is complete. Marc was the guest of Rotarian Michael Kidston.
