DONATION … Montpelier Schools were represented at the August 12, 2024 meeting of the Montpelier Rotary Club. President Mike Moore announced Montpelier Rotary Club’s financial support of the Williams County Resource Guide. The Club will share the cost of printing the guide with Williams County United Way. Michelle Kannel, its editor, presented a brief history of the Resource Guide. Restarted in its present format in 2015, the guide includes more than 300 resources. Editors are working on the fourth revision with updates to the Guide facilitated by the Williams County ECHO Coalition and Montpelier Schools. Also in attendance: Travis Lichty, new superintendent for Montpelier Schools and Jennifer Fitzcharles, the new assistant social worker. School staff were guests of Rotarian Chris Kannel.
