Montpelier Teenager Killed, Four Others Hurt In Rural Bryan Accident

fatal+crash71A Montpelier teenager lost her life Tuesday evening due to injuries sustained in a two vehicle accident three miles north of Bryan near the intersection of County Road H, according to authorities.  Four others were injured in the crash.

Chanelle B. Albertson (17 years old – Montpelier) was pronounced dead at the accident scene. Ohio State Troopers stated a 2004 Ford Taurus driven by Warren J. Robinson (16 years old – Toledo) was traveling south on State Route 15 when Robinson crossed the centerline and struck a 2003 Lexus RX 300 driven by Dawn Courtaway (47 year old). Courtaway was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Bryan Community Hospital and is listed in stable condition

Chenelle B. Albertson was a passenger in Robinson’s car. Warren J. Robinson and two other passengers (Maya Taylor – 14 years old – Montpelier) and Gibson D. Burkholder (15 years old – Ridgeville Corners) were transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital and are listed in critical condition. All four passengers were wearing their seat belts according to authorities.

The Williams County Sheriff’s Office, Coroner’s Office, Bryan F.D. and Williams County EMS assisted the scene.
