Naomi M. Cook, 91, of Angola, IN passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in Northern Lakes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Angola, Indiana.
She was a homemaker in her own home.
She was born January 13, 1921 in Williams County, OH to Ross F. and Veryl (Martin) Mocherman.
She married Wendell Cook on October 26, 1941.
Mrs. Cook was a member of the Edon Methodist Church Edon, OH and attended the Angola Christian Church after moving to Angola, IN. She was a member of the United Methodist Women in Edon, OH and a volunteer for the CHWC Hospice of Bryan, OH.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law Marytha and John Pitt of Nevada, IA; Jeanine and Jim Hulbert of Angola, Indiana; one grandson and his wife Josiah and Sarah Hulbert ; two great-grandchildren Leah and Allyson Hulbert; and one step-sister Dorothy Helmecyi of Fort Wayne, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wendell Cook; her daughter Kathy Cook and one brother Donald Mocherman.
Services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday December 13, 2012 at the Edon United Methodist Church, Edon, OH with David J. Miller officiating.
Visitation will be from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, Indiana.
Burial will be in Edon Union Cemetery, Edon, OH.
Memorials are to the Angola Christian Church, Angola, IN or the Edon United Methodist Church, Edon, OH.
