NEW LOOK … Above is an architect rendering of what the new Circle K in Archbold will look like once completed.

By: Daniel Cooley

With the purchase of the old Vernier-Probeck building, Circle K has big plans for its new store. But first, the walls of the old Circle K and the Vernier-Probeck building are in the midst of completely coming down.

And there will be no Circle K for a few months, as the store will be completely reconstructed. The new Circle K will be built where the the old Vernier-Probeck building was, which will give the new store plenty of room.

According to Archbold Village Engineer Dexter Krueger, the new Circle K will have about 5,000 square feet of space and will also have more room for gas pumps.

“It will look drastically different,” said Dexter Krueger, Archbold Village Engineer. “With more space, (for one), the store will be able to feature more products.”

“And the number of gas pumps available will double in size, from the previous four pumps to eight pumps. Krueger anticipates the new Circle K will be open for business by mid-May.
