NLG Ministries Holds Fundraiser In Archbold; Prepares For Edgerton Fall Fest

On Saturday, August 16, Victor & Mary Juarez of Never Let Go Ministries set up a resource table, along with other organizations, at the “Hope Runs Here” awareness campaign in Wauseon, Ohio.

They were available to talk with people and hand out any literature or information that was needed. The day was hosted by Five County Recovery.

Mary, along with Lori Knierim, of Wauseon, shared their journeys of grief and spoke of the loss of losing their sons to an overdose. The event included many activities and was an all-day event.

On Sunday evening, people gathered at Zion Mennonite church, in Archbold, for food and music by local band 1AD, to hear the story of Marjoe, (Mary’s son who passed from an overdose,) told by Victor and Mary Juarez.

The fundraiser for Never Let Go Ministries was organized by a new (so new they haven’t even chosen a name yet), MCUSA Mennonite Fellowship, which meets in the Archbold area.

Baylee Tietje, daughter of Kelly Tietje, probation officer for W.C., added to Victor and Mary’s talk by sharing a little of what her mother does and how much she cares about the people she helps.

The food, fellowship, compassion, and donations were beyond anything Victor and Mary expected.
