August 26th-WAYNE TRACE: 128 runners were present to take part in the men’s portion of the Wayne Trace Invitational, including runners from Stryker and North Central.
North Central finished ninth at the event, with Jason Vassar leading the way for the Eagles at twenty-eighth place. He finished the race at 19:29. Trenton Sakos took thirty-seventh place, running a 19:53. Keean Livensparger finished at sixty-fourth place by running a 21:26. Four seconds later, Adam Knepper took sixty-fifth place at 21:30.
A notable finish for Stryker, Hunter Lilleholm ran a 22:04 at the event.
The Lady Panthers had a strong showing at the Invitational, which had 105 girls running in the race. Shi’Ann Whitman of Stryker claimed sixteenth place with a 22:54. Also representing the Panthers, Paige Speelman took twenty-ninth place thanks to her time of 24:08. Megan Graber finished the race five seconds later, placing thirty-second at 24:13.
A notable finish for the Lady Eagles was Taylor Harper, who ran a 26:31.
