(September 29th, 2014)-PIONEER: Even with the powerful defensive performance of Alyssa Swank, who recorded 8 blocks on the evening, the Lady Eagles were still bitten by the Bulldogs of Swanton, losing the match in straight sets.

Falling behind early in the match, the North Central girls lost game 1 12-25. Rallying in the second set, the Eagles fell just short of tying the series with a 21-25 loss in game 2. Game 3 saw North Central left behind by the Swanton girls, losing the set and the match 13-25.

With 4 kills, senior Abby Auch had a decent night attacking the net for the Lady Eagles. Cady VanDeVordee completed an impressive 13 passes for North Central as well.
