North Central Drops Road Match To Hilltop

(October 7th, 2014)-WEST UNITY: With 8 aces on the evening, Felicity Jackson paved the way for the Lady Cadets to a successful defense of their home court against the invading Eagles of North Central.

Jackson also recorded 7 assists, 2 digs, and a kill in the match. Ariana Brown added 10 kills and 4 blocks in the Hilltop victory. Allie Schmitt offered up 8 digs, 3 kills, and an ace to the Cadet effort as well.

For North Central, Makayla Hayes and Alyssa Swank each made 3 kills. Keeley Shaw had an ace for the Eagles as well. Reese Cogswell also made 12 great passes in the loss.

A dogfight ensued in game 1 of the match, with Hilltop earning a tough 25-21 win. Game 2 belonged to the Cadets as well, as they claimed the set 25-16. The Lady Eagles couldn’t find their rhythm in game 3 either, losing the set and the match 15-25.
